Today we irrigated for the first time this season. We were the first one on our weir to use it this year, so we spent last night and very early this morning clearing out the 1/2 mile or so water ditch (where the water travels from the weir) of debris. Each year the canal for our weir is opened around May 15. The water comes from the Utah Lake in Provo, Utah(10-15 miles south of us).
In a few days the ground will be ready to till and plant our vegetable seedlings and seeds!
